Dyslexia Clinic Niagara was formed in 2008, when the need for a local resource became obvious. Educator Trish Janas, Director of Dyslexia Clinic Niagara, has completed a lengthy Orton-Gillingham training module, an extensive reading list, a rigorous supervised practicum and been approved by the Board of Trustees as an Associate Practitioner with the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators. The Academy sets the bar high to ensure that Practitioners strive for excellence while balancing the goal of success as they adhere to Academy ethics and quality. Add the prerequisite university degree combined with years of experience and you have a very comprehensive, effective, dynamic local resource that is here to help you, every step of the way!
